As a result of certain regulations, the ADR inspection (which normally occurred at the same time) - did not coincide with the APK inspection date.
During the ADR inspection, the required extra inspection for APK vehicles was usually carried out as well. However, the APK inspection can be carried out 2 months before the expiry of the one-year period, leaving the inspection deadline in place, and is then actually valid for a maximum of 14 months.
The ADR test is in fact valid for 12 months and therefore out of step with the APK date. This has been the subject of extensive consultation.
