Despite the fact that TRTA mainly focused on trailers in the 1990s, problems with digital tachographs were also examined.
The problems that occurred were similar to the problems with the ADR/VLG inspections.
TRTA was unable to resolve the problems at the time. This subject will most likely be taken up again as further developments take place.
