There is a course within the Dutch technical and vocational secondary education system (LBO) that trains truck mechanics. Yet there was no training course that focused specifically on towed equipment.
With the help of local workshops that provided the necessary parts and tools, and together with ‘t Wildveld training school, a curriculum was drawn up that ultimately trained dozens of students to become trailer mechanics.
