TRTA aims to coordinate and accelerate innovations and a high level of automation in freight transport throughout the chain.
This ambition stems from the fact that TRTA wants to make a significant contribution to social objectives, such as traffic safety, traffic flow and reduction of emissions, along with improvements in efficiency, reliability, predictability and competitiveness. The realisation of a sustainable ecosystem is high on our list of priorities.
Twelve subprojects have been launched for this wide-ranging and long-term project. Applied research will be completed by the end of 2021, and the target for PhD research is the end of 2023. We will share more in-depth information and further developments on our website soon.
